According to Ayurved, the 5,000 years old "Science of Life", your structure, function, tendencies and affinities are governed by what is called your 'Prakriti'.
Prakriti is basically one's own nature which is decided or which gets inbuilt in a human at the time of conception, on the basis of predominant energy principle called 'Doshas'. It remains unaltered throughout life . The same is responsible for the physical as well as mental characteristics of the particular person
Prakriti, helps to understand one's physical and mental status which helps in the prognosis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of many upcoming disorders. if we get to know about our prakriti.
Prakriti is assessed with the help of a questionnaire which includes questions related to the lifestyle, body traits such as skin complexion, nail, eyes, tongue, teeth, speech , etc.; physiological functioning such as digestion, excretion, tolerance, moods, etc.
Prakriti assessment is used to understand the constitution and type of the body. This questionnaire is then analysed at very subtle level to derive implications that will improve one’s health. Hence the required changes to be made in his/her food habit, sleep pattern, day to day activities,or medications etc will be made to achieve optimum health.
